A little about me

I’m Sean

I was born in Taiwan, where my love for storytelling first began. Growing up, I was always drawn to films, arts, and the small emotions hidden inside everyday moments. I studied filmmaking with a dream of one day creating stories that could make people feel seen, even if I didn’t yet know where that journey would take me.

Relationship with Australia

Moving to Australia completely changed my life. Like many people starting over in a new country, I experienced language barriers, uncertainty, and moments of feeling like I didn’t belong. I worked hard through different jobs while quietly holding onto my creative passion, learning how to rebuild myself in a place far away from home.

Photography and filmmaking became more than just creative work for me—they became a way to connect with people. Through Ovis Creative Productions, I found purpose in capturing real stories, genuine emotions, and the beauty of community. From local businesses and festivals to personal moments and documentaries, I discovered that the most meaningful images come from honesty and human connection.

Today, my journey continues to shape the way I see the world. Every project I create is influenced by the experiences, challenges, and people who helped me become who I am today. More than creating beautiful visuals, I want my work to remind people that behind every image is a story worth slowing down for.
